Michael Fang, M.D.Founder and Chairman
As the principal founder, Dr. Fang keeps CETA true to its mission and vision. He serves as Chairman of the board to help CETA build a team capable of delivering the best in healthcare informatics technology innovation.
Michael’s passion for health innovation spans from health IT to biotechnology. He was the Medical Director of Informatics at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital, where he led the hospital to implement Meaningful Use of electronic health records. He is a Co-founder for IMOSPHERE Inc., whose patented analytics technology is now used by the NHS in the UK. Michael is Chief Medical Officer for ORIG3N Inc, a biotechnology company based in Boston that is leading a transformation in medical research through crowdsourced biobanking.
Michael received his B.A. from Northwestern, and M.D. from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his training in internal medicine and geriatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Leanne Shu, MBA, PharmDCEO
Leanne has a track record in growing healthcare businesses on an international scale. She was the Global Project Manager for American Pharmaceutical Partners, where she led the 1000 employee corporation in developing new markets and products in U.S., Europe, India and China.
Leanne also brings real life clinical experience to CETA having worked as a clinical pharmacy specialist in large academic hospitals such as Rush University and Indiana University Health System. She holds a MBA in Healthcare administration from University of Michigan and also has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Illinois.
Stanley Tsao, Ph.D.COO
Stanley is responsible for the execution of all strategic initiatives to evolve CETA into a leader in helping healthcare organizations solve their toughest data problems.
With a passion for innovation, Stanley has served in leadership roles in entrepreneurship advocacy groups to connect entrepreneurs to resources since 2010. He is also the VP for the Taiwanese American Professionals Chicago, where he leads a team of over 30 young professionals in developing cultural, community service, and professional events for thousands of Asian-American professionals in the Chicagoland area.
Stanley received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, where he worked to develope novel camera sensors as a NASA research fellow. He has over 30 publications in the field, including a Best Paper award from the US Army.
Joe StecherVice President, CETA Performance Services
Joe oversees client project operations to ensure that customers are getting best CETA can provide in customer support . He is continuously optimizing workflows, policies, and training to ensure that CETA provides nothing but the highest caliber team members for its clients’ projects.
Sivaram Arabandi, MDAdvisor Board Member
Dr. Arabandi is the founder of Ontopro LLC and has over 15 years of multidisciplinary clinical and information technology experience. He trained as a General Surgeon and holds a Masters degree in Computer Science. He has a strong background and expertise in clinical terminology standards, data integration, interoperability and emerging healthcare technologies with leadership experience in academic institutions as well as industry.
Prior to this Sivaram worked as Director for Smart Content Strategy at Elsevier, providing Clinical Informatics leadership and responsible for Terminology services including Elsevier Merged Medical Taxonomy (EMMeT) and application of Semantic Web technologies in Clinical products. He has worked on projects ranging from complete implementation of clinical content development within a structured EHR system to enterprise quality reporting frameworks involving large scale data integration.
